GETOR GS series – units equipped with a SCANIA engine

The availability of electricity sources – main or back-up – is essential worldwide. When designing a generator set, regardless of its application, we always pay attention to the strength, durability and reliability of the drive unit as well as low maintenance requirements.

Scania engines offer all of this at its best, ensuring stable performance at the lowest possible operating costs. A large selection of drive units based on the latest engine platform, meeting the needs of electric power up to 777 kVA.

Scania’s unique modular engine concept means greater availability of spare parts, savings in raw materials and a single technician to service the product. Combined with long service intervals, proven reliability, great availability and lower costs over the entire life cycle, therefore greater profitability.

Due to their compact design and an exceptionally favorable power-to-weight ratio, the engines are easy to install – this is a great advantage in stationary power plants and even greater in the case of enclosed generating sets.

SCANIA engines stand out due to their high efficiency in response to step loads with short stabilization times.

All GETOR powered by SCANIA generator sets are equipped with electronic frequency regulators – engine speed.

GETOR GS aggregates available as standard with no-emision or Stage 2 engines – they meet the requirements for stationary machines. For mobile applications, versions meeting the Stage 3A emission requirements are available – on request.
